I breed AKC Registered Labrador Retrievers from top quality hunting line genetics.

Good health, sound genetics is our starting point.

      • Sound temperament with the expectation that dogs will spend most of their lives as pets even if they become field champions.
      • Competitive potential as hunting, hunt test, or field trial dogs or in other endeavors requiring athletic ability, intelligence and trainability.
      • Natural game finding ability
      • Multi-purpose retriever equally proficient on dove, duck, quail and pheasant
      • Excellent handling ability
      • Extremely steady to shot and fall; readily honors other working dogs
      • Appealing confirmation based upon the American Labrador standard
      • Superior field-proven ancestry
    • Trainability

As a hunter, I appreciate drive and desire in a Lab. On the other hand, I don’t think that the average hunter needs the extreme level of drive that is often present in Labs from many of today’s AKC field trial bloodlines.

My goal is to breed dogs that will allow the average hunter to have control of their dog, one that isn’t so hot that only a pro can handle.   I believe by choosing a proven Stud Dog and by having a bitch that is proven (not by titles but by training and talent) this gives us the gift to pick the perfect pup for the average hunter at an affordable price.
